Hi all,
My company having recently brought some 3DX licences, I’m trying to learn to use it, as I feel the time is soon when we will be told: «All new projects should be on 3DX only !»… We are now using Catia V5.
I was really afraid of this transition, but in the end most things are pretty similar. There is just a bunch of things that I can’t seem to be able to understand how to do. One of then is Flexible components (or any non product components for what matters).
I was using a lot the flexible components in Catia V5, mainly to store all fasteners while keeping the tree short and tidy. It is also quite usefull to put all the parts that are not part of the final product, but still needs to be designed in context (support equipment mainly). Then they can be shown/hidden quite efficiently.
It there an equivalent in 3DX catia that I haven’t found yet ? And if not, what is the proper way to keep hundreds of small parts to clutter the tree ?
Thanks for your answers,
Arno
