Hi,

How long you think would take to learn SolidWorks?
In the last 10 years, I used Catia V5, V6, 3DEX and NX.
I have estimated that it wouldn't take more than a week (knowing already another CAD system may be beneficial).
But I trust your opinion more than mine.
What do you think?

Thanks,

Solidworks sure is user friendly even if it isn't great for drawing. The great problem is stability it really is not the best for managing large assemblies.
I would suggest you to use the 2022 ( or 2021 ) version where they finaly eneble the use of the GPU discrete graphics card to compute the 3D space so it definitely runs better.

See the answers in the Solidworks forum.
