Within CATIA V5 there two 'versions' called P1 Solutions and P2 Solutions. What is the difference between the P1 and P2?

as I understand it, P1 products consist of only the basic tools at a moderate price. P2 products are the basics plus many more advanced features at a higher price. P3 products are the most advanced, niche applications with a price that reflects the same.

the P2 stuff is what most people use.
