We are looking at using the material CB7Cu or ASTM A747 in a slurry pumping application. I am trying to convince the end-user (and myself) that the wear resistance of the material is sufficient without performing expensive tests. Many hours have been spent on Google trying to find relevant literature regarding erosion and abrasion tests for said material, but I still have not been able to find something useful. Would somebody out there be able to point me in the right direction for finding erosion/abrasion test data for CB7Cu?

You are unlikely to find much info. on this material for wear resistance in slurry pumping applications seeing as how it is designed as a corrosion resistant material. Of course it may well be suited to your application - but not knowing what you are pumping it is anyones guess.

If you are dealing with fine particle slurry, you may want to include rubber and /or urethane in your review.

I believe Artesi is right when saying that I am unlikely to find much info on this topic. I have contacted more experienced materials engineers to see what they have to say, and will have to see what they come up with.

Thanks for the effort!
