We received a CBR test report indicating a CBR of 92 (0.1 in. penetration) for a silty sand (Max. Dry Density 132.1 pcf) with no gravel. The reported Dry Density Before and After Soaking was 129.4 and 129.6 pcf, respectively. The uncorrected CBR was around 40 (0.1 inch penetration) and after correction was 90.

Does this seem reasonable?.....as literature suggests it should be in the 10 to 40 range.
