Field CBR ASTM D4429

I am preparing to purchase and run Field CBR tests ASTM D4429 for a roadway on Subbase and Base Course Materials.

Wondering if anyone can provide me input on equipment brand to purchase and set-up tips such as fabrication for trailer hitch or utilizing on-site heavy equipment.

I found Humboldt and Gilson have test kits, but not sure about mounting to a truck or existing equipment.

Unless you have a very heavy vehicle with a trailer hitch, I would opt for the site equipment approach. The smallest equipment I've used for a reaction is a CME 45 drill rig on an truck.
