Hi
I'm designing surface equipment for marine envrionment. I working out the CE requirement as part of design process. I included EMI and possibly LVD since it contains AC/DC PSU, but I try take it outside so I can avoid LVD testing requirement.
I have lithium phosphate battery to be fitted inside the box, it is much safer battery than lithium-ion with known history of explosive and fire and massive recall.
I'm trying to work out if there is CE requirement affecting the lithium phosphate battery in term of charging and discharging, so I can address the design and avoid risk of non-compliance to CE.
