Hi
I have recently rebuilt a Cincinatti No 2 OM grinder, had all the bedways reground, stripped and checked main spindle and replaced bearings on regulating wheel spindle ( machine was modified to take bearings)
On commissioning I found that every time you dress the grinding wheel you need to adjust the angle of the bed to compensate for the taper (grinding engine valves) I checked for play on dresser and dresser quill there is none, dresser was clocked square to spindle. Any advise is highly appreciated as my customer is peeved.
