I am looking for high tempeature paints with a ceramic nature or otherwise that can be field applied at room temperature to carbon steel and will cure adequately and resist a sulfidic gas and oxidizing gas with sulfur species at surface temperatures around 300C (580 - 600F).

Most industrial HT coatings have to be cured at a higher temperature to perform well and this cannot be done here, although brief localized heating to 400C may be feasible. The coating/paint need only last 3 or 4 years before it can be reapplied.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Try engine paint, it has ceramic in it and the high-temp kind is good to 1200 degrees F. Check your local auto parts store.
