I noticed SWorks is now offering there CSWA and CSWP tests online and you can take them for free by requesting a voucher.

Has anyone received a voucher they had sent for? I am still waiting for mine (about a week).

There are some good nuggets in there.

Specifically, linking dimensions and display annotations in model, rename dimensions and change their font size (make them stand out in the model area). This is all to aid is making multiple dimensional changes fast.

Regarding incontext assembly, make sure you can edit a feature on one part and have a feature on another part update with it.

good luck.

Are you talking about derived features and sketches?

mostly using sketch relations between different parts while editing a component in the context of an assembly.

Couldn't find the time over the weekend to take the test, wife was out of town and I had the kids. I think that I will try to take it Thursday night because I am going away for the weekend. I will post on how I do and my opinion of the test Thursday night or Friday first thing.

I took my CSWA test today and I passed. My score was 80% but the question I got wrong I think there was not enough information to build the part. I would like to show this question to someone who is already CSWA or CSWP (instead of posting it here) for a second opinion.

I took the CSWP exam at SolidWorks World 2007. Is the CSWA a level below or above the CSWP? I see that there is a CSWPCORE exam, was the CSWP exam renamed?

CSWA is a step below the CSWP. Yes it was renamed.
