CFD Software

My company is looking to do some CFD analysis. Since we currently use Ansys for structural analysis, I began by looking at the software that Ansys has to offer. When looking at introductory software, I noticed an offering from Ansys, CFD-Flo, but could not find much information. Does anyone have experience with CFD-Flo they would like to share?

I don't have any experience with CFD-flo, but you might want to look into CFX and Fluent. I have both as part of my Ansys package. There's plenty of info, tutorials and the like for both on the Ansys website.

I'm pretty sure CFD-Flo is basically 'CFX-Lite' - I think it has a bunch of limitations like can't solve phase change models, complex stuff like that. But I think it was like half the price of full CFX when I enquired about the prices, so if your simulations would tend towards the basic side of the spectrum it's the better choice. Not entirely sure what it looks like, but I think its basically the same as CFX with certain options unavailable.
