What is the preferred Engineering software for the design of CFS members used in residential and commercial construction? I am looking to complete full scale building design including walls and roof trusses while have the capability to analyze for all gravity and lateral code combination of the building as a whole. Once designed we need the software to universally talk to any roll forming machine. We have looked into FrameCAD and Vertex but FrameCAD is only offering design software if you buy a machine and Vertex does not offer design packages in the US, only China, Australia, and the UK.

Usually design chart information from the supplier... for funny situations I use a freeware package called CUFSM... it's a little clunky until you get to use it a bit... it's great.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Do you feel any better?
