Change Dimension Text Spacing in Standard?

I am creating a new standard, and cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get rid of the space before and after the dimension, when adding dimension texts. As you can see in this picture, I have dual values, and by my standard, I am telling it to add parenthesis to my dual value, along with "mm". Additionally, this dimension already puts a bracket around the value. Where do I change this?

Thank you...

I would look at the Value Positioning for the extra space.

The documentation for these settings is in your on-line docs at .../v5r20/catia/English/online/cfyugdr_C2/cfyugdrsa0404.htm

I think the Dual Value Associated texts are in the same general documentation location.

Look also here .../v5r20/catia/English/online/cfyugdr_C2/cfyugdrsa0504.htm

I did look through... the spacing I figured out. Just needed to update the standard. (forgot about that)

Can't seem to get rid of those dang brackets, though...

Hello,

It seem's you can't remove this brackets. You can only change dimensions of them.
I found this: (
The requested behavior is to have a format like (main [dual]).
This format is not offered by CATIA drafting.
The user is performing to have setting before-main to '(' and
after-dual to ')'.
This results in a format like (main [dual)].
This is the right behavior since the squared brackets are
dual value separators.
To drive the squared bracket (i.e. the dual value separators)
size is possible by customize the standard.
Documentation Reference:
Mechanical design / Interactive Drafting
Administrative tasks / Dimension Parameters
The dual value separators size can be specified in the
standard with the parameter "Dual Dimension: Side-by-side
dual display mode, Separator height".

Thanks for your reply, Marc.

I don't believe that this is exactly the same issue. I've already added before and after text, so I can get the parentheses displayed that way. The user that submitted that APAR was trying, seemingly, to reference the whole value, without the use of before/after text, whereas I'm trying to get rid of the brackets, altogether. Or, if I could just change them to a different shape, that would be great, too. (the APAR was answered in broken English, so I'm not entirely sure that I fully understand what they were answering, to be fair)

I did find the separator value, but it seems to have no effect. I set it to a near zero value, and it still shows up exactly the same...

Here is what I'm trying to do:

9.16 in. (233mm)

Of which, I have the following achieved:

9.16 in. [(233mm)]

Where the square brackets are tiny, and look extremely out of place.
