Change in reaction force due to Wear in ABQUS using MESHMOTION

I am running wear problem in pen and cap mechanism in ABAQUS using UMESHMOTION subroutine. After the whole setup of both ABAQUS CAE model and UMESHMOTION subroutine, I ran it for 45 sliding steps without any error. While I am doing the post processing for every sliding cycle, I can see significant change in the wear depth (measured with U in Abaqus post processing) from 1st step to 45th step. But at the same time if I measure the reaction force at fixed location there is absolutely no change in the reaction force magnitude from step 1 to step 45 . looking forward for your help with any information to measure change in reaction force due to wear.

Hi,
Only the value of U is increasing over the steps. whereas contact pressure and the reaction force in the fixed location is not changing.
