Good day!

I am a Mechanical Engineer in the Petrochem Industry(Contracting) and would like to apply for a job on the Robotics field.

Does anyone have any advice on what should I know before applying on such field? I have been staying for 3 years in this field and I am not sure if there are any transferrable knowledge.

It would also be helpful if you can point me to some free online courses I can take to further my knowledge on robotics.
