I know where to change the colors in the Utilities:Customer Defaults. But it doesn't create new dimensions in the new color I choose nor does it allow me to change the color of existing sketch dimensions. Some guy created them in dark blue. Very Hard to read

Is this something it the configuration of the system?

You have to restart NX after modifying the Customer Defaults before the changes will take effect.

If I remember correctly, to change sketch dim. colors on the fly, you need to access the drafting dimension settings (you have to actually go into the Drafting application). Then access the Style Defaults or Prefs (whichever it's called) make your changes, click OK or Apply/OK, then go back to modeling and enter the sketcher. Your colors should now be set for that NX session and that part. However, you can avoid having to do this horrid task by modifying the customer defaults, as you did already, then restarting NX for the changes to kick in.

If it's not available in NX4 already, there has been something discussed/suggested that UGS make the sketch dims separate from drafting and have all their settings within sketcher. Memory is a little foggy at the moment.

Use Preferences -> Sketch. Select the Colors tab and change them there.

This will change them for the current file only so you will also have to change them in your defaults.

As for existing dimensions, use Edit -> Object Display to change the colors.
