Changing Dimension Properties with a script

Hi,
I'm new to using macro's and was hoping someone may be able to tell me how I can alter the properties of a dimension with catscript.
I'm mainly after changing the linetype to 2-parts and adding text before and after the actual dimension.
I have found the commands to the dimension type but cant find anything else.
Any help would be appreciated.
