Changing model-space extents?

Hello,

I have recently been aked to create a CATIA model of some transportation system alignments. I have never attempted a project that requires such a large model space, and as a result have always been able to work within the default ranges. How do I get CATIA V5 to encompass a model that is up to a mile long? I only need 1/100 of a foot accuracy.
