Chassis Collision Software

I am currently working on a project where I have to analyze the effects on an automobile after a rear end collision. Mainly analyze the effects on the Chassis and gas tank. I am using Cosmos and Solidworks to complete this project. Is there specific software available for this. Or is this software the best choice for the job?

Any help would be appreciated.

LS Dyna and or Nastran with the appropriate non linear modules. How much correlation data do you have?
