What basiccaly the process and chemical used in breaking boulders? and what spec are these? where can i get the references

The chemical is actually expansive cement. Normally disastrous for concrete but good for splitting rocks.

One of them is called Bristar.
 
basically we need to remove some boulders under the old building to construct new underground hall, it required us to do the quiet and safe breaking work due to the location of the area at the middle of the Kuala Lumpur City. Where can i refer the Bristar you said, just before this, one of my friend propose to refer to Daigh Chemical Rock Spitting which look like quite interesting.
