I am familiar with the performance/support/reliability of the big commercial bearing manufacturers: Timken, NTN, FAG, Koyo, NSK, SKF, etc. Within my industry we consider these brands interchangeable in terms of performance and durability.
But recently we are seeing brands from China - ZWZ, UBC, and probably countless others following them. I'm sure India and Brazil also have their domestic brands as well.
I am looking for affordable, reasonable ways to qualify or disqualify the products of such vendors. In other words, how to tell who's making a good bearing?
