We are a manufacture located in the USA with an exsting Chinese SQL. We are currently working with a local company in China that will fanricate some pressure vessels using the GB150 code. This will be the first time that we are allowing this as we usually do the design using ASME sec. VII and then send them the drawings. We usually specify that they use ASME materials, however in this case we are allowing them to use GB materials. As we do not know how the GB code relates to the ASME code or if the GB materials are equal to the ASME materials we now use.

If anyone can offer us some feedback on the difference between the two codes it would be helpful.
