As I moved from 3DS Max, who's got more sufissticated materials control, to SW, I can not accheive good Metal in general, specificly chrom, materal reflections.

All my renderings of metal are "overburned" (solid white) and no reflections. Is there any "recepy" how to do that better in SW. I tried to change all options in illuminations tab of the materials, but still no luck...

Once I used good graphic card whitch was supporting RealView Graphics, and metals were looking very impressive, but once you render, you see that, that effect doesnon egsist. Only way to "preserve" that nice effect was to take a screen shot ;(

Enyone, any idea?

Regards

Use the "Search" tab just above your post & type Chrome. That will list previous posts on this topic.
