Does anyone have experience of troubleshooting WAVE geometery links?

I have four linked parts and can open up any two/three with no problems.
But when I open the fourth I get an error "The following circular update was detected:"
I've attached a PDF showing my part structure links and also the full error message.

The main thing I notice on the error message is there are some lines (highlighted in red) where the WAVE link appears to be pointing in the wrong direction? How can this be?

Can anyone shed some light on this?
Much appreciated.

All i can help with , without having a look at the actual parts is , check those links that seems to go in the wrong direction, double click the link-feature and read who the parent part / feature is, -read it twice. I have been in the same situation and it has always been myself that had selected the wrong parent for the link. It can be really confusing since NX allows the links to go any direction in the assembly , it is easy to make that fatal mistake. ( linking down instead of up or vice versa.)
If you find that the link goes to the wrong parent, you should be able to simply pick the correct object while the dialog is open and the link is fine.

Thanks for the info Toost.
I've not been able to track down anything yet.
Do you (or anyone) know what the difference is between "Work part" and "Other Part"? (First option in the WAVE dialog box).
Thank you,
