I am looking for a clean steam generator that uses dirty steam to heat DI water into "clean steam". It would need to produce 125lb/hr of clean steam at 35 psi. The dirty steam is available at a minimum of 200lb/hr and 50 psi. Anyone have suggestions of where to buy one? I have already checked into Sussman. Thanks for the help!

Thanks unclesyd. I should have said that I've also already checked into Graham, Electrosteam and Spirax-Sarco but their products don't really fit our application. Thanks for the help though!

Can you be a little more specific on your requirements and why some of the above mention machines will not work?

Can your requirement use steam from a steam purifier?

35psi clean steam out of 50psi plant steam may not be possible. The latent heat of steam at 50 psig is about 911.97 btu/lb and if your DI water temperature is about 30C, then you require about 1120.05btu/lb for one kg of DI water to become clean steam. With 200lb/hr of plant steam and your requirement of 125lb/hr clean steam, the generator should have an overall thermal efficiency of about 77%.

Check with Muellerand Steris

I have been using Finn Aqua model and I prefer them over demister pad type single column generators (for reasons unknown:-()

You can get cheaper clean steam generators from Pharmalab, India. They are of fit and forget quality.
