Dear friends ;

In the HYSYS oil manager , I have inputted the bulk density , the distillation assay data .

The resulted stream ( diesel fluid ) have nearly the same flash point and cetane index as reported in the laboratory data , but I haven't matched the cloud point value : it should

be 22 C and Hysys gives me -18 C .

I'm wondering please if someone could guide me on that ? Thanks a lot ! Regards !

do you still have the data?
Some factors to review are how you set it up on Hysys, the quality of the essay and the lab who performed the test.

Wax and wax related measurements are not a strong point for HYSYS - so your statement "it should" does not ring true with me(or for any other commercial process simulation tool that i know). I think specialists software such as PVTsim and Multichem will do better but not brilliant.

better to use a software which does true multi phase including a specific model for solids (wax)
I have used Prode Properties but other tools (as those mentioned by MortenA) are available for this purpose....
