Hi
This is PV K Raju I would like to know the industrial painting defects and its remade

Recently we have found coating defect and the details as under
after coating we have found coating defect ie. surface small bubbles and we suspecting in air quality is it due to air or any other causes? Like that any body have in this subject please share your knowledge.

And also help me to how to check air quality (used air gun) input air quality

What is your coating- what is coating application and what was the original substrate like?

The most common problem causing poor paint finish is poor preparation (cleaning) of the thing you are painting.

Oil in the air used for the spray gun could also cause problems.

An easy way to check the air coming out of the gun is to thoroughly clean a piece of metal. Blow some air through the gun onto the clean metal. Pour some water on the metal. If you see water beads then your air is contaminated.

Oil can also come from several external sources-- anything from someone lubing air tools in the shop area and then running them to blow out the excess, to running a diesel engine nearby, to leaving fingerprints on a part. Silicone residue in many forms, from sealants to lubricants to things like Armor All, is also a great way to ruin a paint job.

We found that 'livestrong' style bracelets typically used for charities are made from silicone and can contribute to paint issues. Certain composites may have requirements for baking to take care of outgassing prior to topcoat.
