Is direct gas fired makeup air unit allowed in the indoor ceiling space for commercial kitchen application?

Where can I find the code regarding to this?

Lemon,

if its 100% OA and not living quarters, you should be able to, but read your codes. NFPA 54 section 10. Make sure you bring in enough OA to dilute the combustion gases.
