Hi all this is my second time posting on a site and I was hoping someone would be as kind as the last time and help me with a problem.

I have a two story building in the north part of BC. It is one half class rooms and offices and one half welding and electrical training rooms with opening bay doors. My question, in the welding and electrical training rooms what ashrae, csa and any other codes and standers applicable should I be looking at?

Any help is appreciated

Sincerely

I'm in BC as well. The Codes and Standards for those particular applications you need are:

WorkSafe BC Industrial Ventilation guidelines for Welding Shops - you'll need to know the type of welding and types of metals.

Electrical Training Rooms: depends what kind of things will be done- what kind of indoor pollutants will be generated.

You DO have a P.Eng watching over your shoulder don't you?

GMcD thanks for the info. There will be someone to review my design be for it gets sighed and sealed, however unfortunately I don’t and would really feel much more comfortable if I did.
