Hello guys,

Need some advice about heat removal from materials.
I am looking for a material that can used as a belt in a conveyor but also allows the heat (more specifically cold) to go through the belt.

Does anyone know of any applicable material or any company that manufactures something like this?

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the quick reply IRstuff

Already got in contact with those suppliers :)

Not even sure if the material I am currently looking for exists in the market.

Need some more information about your application and how much heat you are trying to remove through the belt. At this point all we can say is metal is better than rubber. Is it good enough? We can't tell.

Plastics have low thermal conductivity. The way to increase it is to add mineral particles which are 10x or more thermally conductive. I've attached a list showing the conductivity of common fillers.

To pick on Demon3's reply, can the mineral particles be mixed during the compounding of rubber and then cured with the ply material to make the belts?
