I have a detail drawing with views that need different colored lines that are different from the model. Is there away that I cand change the color of lines in a drawing without affecting the model.

Thanks,

In an assembly drawing pick view/drawing display/member display/ select the components /user color

this procedure will change the entire component color however where the component shares common edges they will still display white.

One possible work around is to add sketches either to the model or the drawing, overlying the lines you wish to alter. Putting it in the model will be easier to constrain and then you can just put each sketch on an individual layer and show/hide in the relevant views in the drawing views. Then use format>line style to alter the style of the sketched lines.

If you get issues with the drawing view lines interfering with your colinear sketched lines, you can hide them in the drawing view using View>Drawing Display>Edge Display.
