i am using staad & steel design for connection
my version of staad is 20.07.10.64
whenever i try to design the members in steel design , i get an Error :
Error found while designing member 2.
Error : No records are available in section database.

Thanks for your reply its much appreciated

There is no member 2 so I don't see how you are getting that error. What is "steel design for connection"? As Seth mentioned, the connection design software that directly interfaces with STAAD is RAM Connection. It requires a separate license. If those plate elements are meant to represent one huge base plate that 6 columns are connected to then RAM Connection wouldn't work anyway. Or any connection program that I know of for that matter. If you are just trying to learn to use the software then this is probably not a good example problem. If you are truly trying to understand this particular structure then ditch the software and work this out by hand with the help of a mentor.

BTW, your releases on member 45 don't make any sense. The release at the top of the column does nothing because it's a cantilever. The release at the bottom is extremely soft causing excessive deflection. You may be confused by STAAD's backwards way of indicating partial releases. I'm guessing you wanted 99.5% of full stiffness. If that they case you should have used "END MP 0.005".

thank you so much dozer for your positive feedback '
i guess you are right about ditching these software and trying to solve it manually
thanks again , its much appreciated
