Doing the annual emissions inventory report. I've calculated NH3 emissions for a distillation column that makes Benzyl amine. The one thing I'm unsure about is factoring in any bottoms re-distillation. We don't keep an "inventory" of it. What's the best approach for estimating any emissions that might occur from the re-distillation?
The only thing I've thought of is assuming a conversion level for the amount that is re-distilled.
Thanks.

If you know your recycle rate then multiply that times your emmission factor. So if you recycle 10% then your emmisions factor then would be 110%. Then you just multiply your normal feed rate times the emmision factor and that should factor in some recycle.
