Hi,
In the cad drawing attached there is a column that sticks out in the middle of the room in the 1st floor as you can see here
.
I don't know what to do, should I just ignore enlarging the column to accommodate both beams from each side and Just have a beam to beam connection?
but that seems unreasonable considering the balcony cantilever.
Can someone suggest column placement for this building?
