Column Web End Plate Moment connection

Does anyone know the procedure for designing end plate moment connections framing into column web?

There were several articles published in the AISC Engineering Journals that dealt with this matter. I used one of them on a design about 14 years ago. It worked real well.

I would contact the AISC or visit their web site. If you are a member, you can download all articles and search all previous issues of the engineering journal on line.

I just ordered my new AISC 13th Edition Manual. Did everyone order theirs? I am anxious to see the new manual. I have to give up using my red and green manuals.
