Hello,
Normally we are working against the PED in Europe but we have came across a problem which PED or EN13445 cant handle so i was trying to find a solution in ASME VIII. But i dont have much knownledge in ASME BPVC. And from what i can find for my problem is the same in ASME and PED.
We have an reactor that our client want to get made in 347H. The reactor have a design temp of 1150F, and the reactor needs to be calculated for fatigue. WHat i can find both in PED and ASME is fatigue calculation for Austenitic steel up to around 800F. But i cant find if there is any solution for fatigue calculation in the creep area. Is there anything in ASME that consider this? or maybe someone have encountered this before?
