Commercial Electrical Design Books

Hello,

I am currently doing a electrical & communication design for a commerical building and was wondering if I could get some input on some good books out there that give a good design process to follow. Things such as schematics, proper wiring techniques, panel scheduling etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

you can start with the IEEE books on the subject, in this case the "IEEE Gray Book"

Yeah, that would be a great help for designing installations in Europe. I do accept though that when people don't say where they are located it is usually safe to assume that they are in the US. Do US schools teach that there is a place outside the USA called 'the rest of the world'?

Maybe gcross can end the suspense?

Try the references in faq238-1287. In Canada the IEEE reference are probably as good as any. If there are better references in Canada I'd like to know.
