Hello,

I am currently doing a electrical & communication design for a commerical building and was wondering if I could get some input on some good books out there that give a good design process to follow. Things such as schematics, proper wiring techniques, panel scheduling etc. Thanks in advance for your help.

Yeah, that would be a great help for designing installations in Europe. [wink] I do accept though that when people don't say where they are located it is usually safe to assume that they are in the US. Do US schools teach that there is a place outside the USA called 'the rest of the world'?

Maybe gcross can end the suspense? [2thumbsup]

Well sorry that I did not mention but I am from Canada. Sorry to disappoint.

Wasn't anything personal gcross, it's just something which you'll probably start to notice for yourself once you've been here for a while.

By the way, 'Welcome to Eng-Tips!'.

Try the references in faq238-1287. In Canada the IEEE reference are probably as good as any. If there are better references in Canada I'd like to know.
