I'm looking to analyze a girder bridge with a gradually changing concrete cross section. The reinforcing tendon would follow the path of the cross section, which is quite complex in three dimensional space. I can create the tendon using given coordinates, however, I'm not sure of how to make the tendon interact most accurately with the concrete solid structure.

I've tried coupling concrete nodes with nodes on the tendon in simpler practice examples, but this led to crashes and I'm not sure if I could do this for the large scale complex bridges, or if it is truly giving me the result I seek. I'm not sure if I could use something like SOLID65, as the reinforcement has a very complex and curved geometry.

If anyone knows the best way I may carry something like this out, any help is appreciated.
