Component replace

[CATPart]

In R14 when I do component replace from part_A to part_B
catia dosen't update te instance name, but leaves the old instance.

- Part_B (Part_A.1)

Can somebody inform me if this is normal or it's a bug?

I've used R13 and R16, and the Instance name still doesn't change. That would suggest it's normal, or at least a bug which they have a low priority to fix.

The best solution is to write a CATScript to rename all instances in a product. (to match the part or component name)
