hi all ansys fan

i have model of Uni Directional composite material.
3-14 layers
matrix
fiber
matrix
fiber
..
element solid46 + relative thickens for layers(volume fraction)
tensil pressure
material(matrix, fiber) properties E(young modulus) poissons constants

problem is: after solving i can not find out the E of composite, i can find out the E of each layer.
all i can do in timehistory post procesor is:
find the stress-strain graph of all layers and then use the rule of mixture to create the final(result) line.
E1=Vf*Ef+Em*Vm (simplifing cause my composite is only fiber and matrix)

but how can i find the solution of E1 (composite) in ansys?

the same question will be when i will have different laminaes(1layer) and want to create a laminate(2 and more layers-laminaes together), where can i find the E(1) of laminate(composite) when i know all the material properties of laminaes

thanks for all helps

Vladimir,

Set KEYOPT(10)=1 to output the reduced stiffness matrices to the output window (or file).

Sorry for the late response...You probably already figured it out.
