Hi guys!

I'm modelling a 20 ply composite and I want to assign the properties, however I'm not familiar with them. I'm working with Simlab and when I put the composite option, these are the properties that I have to use :

Can someone tell me what exactly does this mean? And also how do I add the composite's orientation? Right now I'm modelling with a IM7/977-2 composite and the orientation I want to add is [+45/-45/+45/-45/+45/-45/+45/-45/+45/-45]s

Do you have access to this software's documentation ? There you will most likely find a detailed answer to your questions. The first entries in that table are standard orthotopic material properties - elastic constants (Young's moduli, Poisson's ratio and shear moduli) in different directions plus the density. The rest requires an explanation based on the documentation of the software.

The software doesn't have a lot of documentation, I'm having a hard time searching it and also I thought xt xc yt yc were supposed to be in Pascals, I don't know where the mm come from
