ONE MORE THING!

AFTER STUDYING THIS ARTICLE BY SPECIAL METALS, I HAVE A CONFUSION.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE B/W UNS NO 8810 AND UNS NO 8811 IN TERMS OF MECHANICAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES?

WHICH ONE IS BETTER IN TERMS OF CREEP STRNGTH?

IS THERE ANY HARM IN WELDING AN OLD TUBE(UNS 8810) OF DIA 42mmx7.9mm thk WITH NEW TUBE(BUT OF UNS 8811) OF SAME DIMENSION?

THANKS.

Eabrar;
By the nature of your questions, I would suggest that you contact Special Metals via phone or email. They have an excellent support staff that will answer all your questions about 800H and 800HT. I have dealt directly with these folks.
