Compress (Codeware) vs. RCS

Hello..!

My company is trying to evaluate whether to use Compress or RCS for Heat Exchanger mechanical design.
I would like to hear any opinion about people who has used those software.
Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

If you haven't ruled out other packages,you might want to try BJAC, Hetran, (part of ASPEN) This package will do the process side as well as the mechanical design of heat exchangers (Teams) and will give you all the drawings required for fabrication of the equipment as well as the tube layout. If it were me, I could cut out a designer and a whole lot of iteration time to justify the extra cost. Plus, the package is about the easiest design tool to use I have ever seen.

If it was my money, I wouldn't spend it on Compress!! I go along with Planteng on BJAC. It will also let you do quick and dirty for quotation purposes too.
