Having problems analysing stresses in compression and tension rings for steel roof system of a round structure. The compression ring is 12' dia and the tension ring is 42' dia. The metal deck is supported by purlins (concentric to the rings) framing into eight "spokes" equally spaced which frame into the rings. Does any one know of a reference which address this situation? Thanks
