You can't get specific teardown info on these screw compressers. I have the parts manual yet they won't sell parts. York recommends to replace them as they fail. The only servicable parts are the capacity control assemblies and valves.

I have the manual Form 201.18-RP1, in page 19 don't have the spare parts numbers

The reason you can't get tear down on these machines is we don't want these tore down in the field the only service data you can get is seal replacement and replacing the unloader assemly thats about it. The tolerances for the rotors and their proper alignment for the bearing and rotor housing make them very critical/difficult.

I'm not a real engineer, but I play one on T.V.

Sorry about the confussion the compressor that I was refering to was a YS the DXS like absrbrtek mentioned is less servicable than the YS if you call York chiller help they can get you some part numbers: for the unloader solenoid, oil filter, and most of the orings. If the machine won't load or unload and you've replaced the solenoid they generally recommend replacement.

The YS is servicable. Its just an upside down Frick. I have had the teardown class on them. If you know the Frick model number you can get all of the rebuild parts thru a Frick Factor. It only pays to overhual the larger length screws as long as the compression seals on the rotors are not worn. 2 techs a day can pull one apart and rebuild it fairly easily.

The DXS is a RXF Frick open drive compresser converted into a hermetic York compresser. You can order the RXF parts tru your Frick Factor. The spring usually breaks on the slide valve causing the screw to stay loaded.

absrbrtek: can give me parts numbers of slide valve return spring and o-ring discharge case, please. Thank you
