Dear all,
I need your opinion, based on your experience:
About selection criteria for steel pipes for flexibility analysis, setting aside both those which are fluid services category M and where indicated by customer, which of following two criteria is correct for computational flexibility analysis:
1.- Diameter greater than or equal to 4" and fluid temperature greater than or equal to 149 ° F.
2.- Diameter greater than or equal to 4" and fluid temperature greater than or equal to 302 ° F.
The context of this question is related to the fact that I must refine the selection of pipes for computational analysis, conditioned to a very short time by the client. Would be help me to adopt the second criteria, if it is right and is according with good design practices.
Please your help.
Thank in advance.
