Computer Spec's? 1

Hi ALL,

We’re looking at possibly getting new computer’s in the near future. If you can provide me with your computer spec’s, along with the average size assemblies (Part QTY), and average load times for your models and would be great!!!

Currently I’m running:

Solidworks 2009 SP 4.1
Dell Precision 690 Vista 64
Dual Core - Xeon CPU 2.33 GHz 8.00 GB of RAM
nVida Quadro FX 3800 1 GB (nVida Graphics Driver)

It would be simpler to describe your product and model size, and most importantly, what is your budget.

I design large Radiators, files sizes ranging from 10 - 50 MB. Budget is open from now but I’m figure we’ll need to keep the computer under $4,000 or 5,000 to be a little bit more realistic…
