Concentrated force on HSS wall

How can you check a concentrated force on the 20" wall of an HSS 20x4x1/2? I would normally use AISC Chapter K for this design, but Section K1.3b limits the applicability to B/t less than 35. For an HSS 20x4x1/2, the B/t = 20/0.5 = 40. Does this mean that I can not provide a concentrated force on the 20" wall, or is there another section that covers this?

I second the CIDECT references.

Design Guide 3 is about rectangular hollow sections. Also, the CIDECT document "Hollow Sections in Structural Applications" has some additional information and references that aren't in the design guide.

Some of the CIDECT documents are available through AISC for free.
 
Another idea is to drill a hole through each wall of the HSS at the location of the concentrated load, then to install a rod or round hollow section between the two walls.
