What do they mean by longitudinal splitting? Is this like the concrete splitting across the entire span? I can't seem to find any guidance on this at all.

I've got some 50kN loads concentrated in an apx 300mm2 area on a hollow core floor, which has a topping. I'm assuming the topping does little to help spread the loads? Does calculating punching shear differ much for hollow core compared to a typical concrete slab?
